ABOUT
Sean Cleary
Sean was born and raised in Bismarck, where he now lives with his Amy and their daughter, Audrey.
After graduating from the University of Mary, Sean moved to Washington DC to serve on the staff of U.S. Senator John Hoeven. He returned to North Dakota to earn a master’s degree in applied economics at UND.
Sean moved home to Bismarck to join the staff of Governor Doug Burgum, where he focused on healthcare and financial services policy. As an advisor to the governor, Sean worked with the Legislature, cabinet officials, and other statewide elected leaders to advance policies to unlock North Dakota's potential. His experience in public service has given him the opportunity to work at both the state and federal levels on behalf of North Dakotans.
Currently, Sean works for the Medora Foundation, where he is dedicated to sharing the beauty of western North Dakota with visitors throughout the country.
Today, Sean is running for the legislature because he wants to continue serving his community and strengthen it for years to come. He will fight for quality educational opportunities, safe communities, good-paying jobs, and lower taxes.
